LEGO 2K Drive blog feature

Driving is about to get awesome-er! Take the wheel in LEGO 2K Drive for a one-of-a-kind open-world racing adventure.

Rev Your Engines for Lego 2K Drive!

This spiritual successor to LEGO Racers pulled up on May 19th 2023. We’ve got everything you need to know to take the pole position.

Drive Everywhere!

Welcome to Bricklandia, a vast open world with multiple regions just waiting to be explored. Packed with kooky quests and full of colourful characters, you can race anywhere and with anyone as you take on a cast of wacky rivals to win the coveted Sky Trophy.

Once you’re behind the wheel, you can take on the exciting Story Mode. When you’ve had your fill of that fun, take a break for some exploration or even jump into racing and the thrilling Cup Series tournament. Do you really need to let loose? There are some off-the-wall minigames for that! Plus, there is seasonal content and DLCs being regularly added to keep gameplay fresh and exciting.

Build Vehicles Brick-by-Brick

Would it really be the ultimate LEGO driving experience if you couldn’t construct your own set of wheels? Head to the garage to build your dream ride by just snapping real-world LEGO bricks together. Create whole new cars from scratch or modify one already in your collection. Not a confident builder? Then relax and unwind with a guided build. When you’re done, take your creation out for a drive…or a few laps across the lake.

Yes, it’s not just the racetrack you’ll be burning rubber on. As well as hitting up off-road routes, you’ll be racing across open waters in boats with the need for speed. Build a vehicle for every occasion and watch as they transform before your eyes as you move from terrain to terrain. Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads!

Driving is Awesome-er With Friends

It gets lonely on the road, so make sure to bring some buddies along for the ride! Take on Story Mode in two-player splitscreen play, which is available in Local Play across all platforms – that’s PlayStation 5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S and One, and of course PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Nintendo Switch players can also link across two consoles using the same wireless connection.

You can also go online and Play With Friends so six of you can race around a Shared World to take on World Challenges or settle who’s the fastest in Cup Series and Race modes. Alternatively, take on the whole world with two friends in Play With Everyone. But whichever mode you play in, LEGO 2K Drive supports crossplay for all consoles except Nintendo Switch.
